The Geological Society of America (GSA) asked their journal and book editors to pick some of the top articles published in the 2016 year. The review is in their "Speaking of Geoscience" Blog, and are available for free download until January 31, 2016. The articles cover topics like oxygen levels in the Neoproterozoic, catastrophic landslide reconstruction, evolution of fault slip rates in the Basin and Range, a modern view of continental crust construction, accessibility in the geosciences, implications of the Ediacaran-Cambrian paleogeography of Baltica, the structural geology of the Baraboo District in Wisconsin, and groundwater mixing in the Heuco-Bolson Aquifer in Mexico.
