The Geological Society of America (GSA) published a statement today on President Trump's budget request for the 2018 fiscal year. They call on Congress to reject the proposed cuts to geoscience research federal agencies like the National Science Foundation, US Geological Survey and Department of Energy will negatively affect the US economy and innovation.
