IAPG: First General Assembly and Upcoming EGU Session

The International Association for Promoting Geoethics (IAPG) published their minutes from their first General Assembly held at the 35th International Geological Congress in Cape Town, South Africa. The General Assembly, which is composed of all IAPG Members, covered topics to help promote geoethics as a global community. They also discussed the possible establishment of an award, and a push towards the publication of the "Cape Town Statement of Geoethics." Additionally IAPG is seeking submissions to session EOS14 - Geoethics: ethical, social and cultural implications of geoscience knowledge, education, research and practice at the upcoming European Geophysical Union Meeting
