USDA - The United States Forest Service Lyon-Mineral Resource Advisory Committee (RAC) has given notice of a meeting to occur at the on January 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will address new project proposals and an update on current and completed projects. OSTP - The Soil Science Interagency Working Group (SSIWG) is requesting information for the development of a Framework for a Federal Strategic Plan for Soil Science. DOI - The Department of the Interior (DOI) has proposed a rule that would preserve, manage, and protect paleontological resources on lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management, the Bureau of Reclamation, the National Park Service, and the Fish and Wildlife Service.
