NSF - The National Science Foundation (NSF) Advisory Committee for Environmental Research and Education will hold an open meeting on March 30 and 31 to provide advice, recommendations, and oversight concerning support for environmental research and education. BLM - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) proposed new regulation to reduce waste of natural gas from venting, flaring, and leaks during oil and natural gas production on onshore Federal and Indian leases. EPA - The National Environmental Justice Advisory Council (NEJAC) of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a public meeting on February 25 to discuss the EPA’s Draft Environmental Justice Primer Framework. [Tuesday, February 9, 2016 (Volume 81, Number 26)]

NASA -  NASA announces a public meeting of the Research Subcommittee of the Human Exploration and Operations Committee of the NASA Advisory Council (NAC) on March 7. The meeting will focus on potential Cis-Lunar Space and Mars exploration as well as the International Space Station. [Tuesday, February 9, 2016 (Volume 81, Number 26)]

DOI - The U.S. Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (USEITI) Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG) Advisory Committee of the Department of the Interior (DOI) will hold three public meetings on March 8–9, June 28–29, and October 26–27. [Wednesday, February 10, 2016 (Volume 81, Number 27)]

FEMA - The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is requesting comments for their proposed flood hazard determinations, that may include Base Flood Elevation (BFE), base flood depth, Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) boundary or zone designation, or regulatory floodway on the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs). NASA - NASA announced a meeting of the Science Committee of the NASA Advisory Council (NAC) to be held on March 10 and 11. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Science Mission Directorate FY 2017 budget request, the Nexus for Exoplanet System Science, and the Big Data Task Force.  [Friday, February 12, 2016 (Volume 81, Number 29)]

EPA - The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced two public meetings of the Assumable Waters Subcommittee of the National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology (NACEPT) to provide advice and recommendations on how the EPA can best clarify assumable waters for dredge and fill permit programs pursuant to the Clean Water Act. The two three-day meeting with be held on March 15-17 and June 7-9. [Wednesday, February 17, 2016 (Volume 81, Number 31)]

USGS - The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) announced the public review period for a report of the Advisory Committee on Water Information, Subcommittee on Hydrology, titled ‘‘Guidelines for Determining Flood Flow Frequency.” Comment period will last for 45 days following the announcement. DOE - The Wind and Water Power Technologies Office of the Department of Energy (DOE) will hold an Executive Summit on Marine and Hydrokinetic (MHK) Research and Development on March 2. The summit will showcase DOE’s water power energy investments in the national laboratories and identify activities ready for technology transfer. [Tuesday, February 23, 2016 (Volume 81, Number 35)]

DOE - The Department of Energy  (DOE) and National Science Foundation (NSF) Nuclear Science Advisory Committee (NSAC) will hold a meeting on March 23.
