BOEM - The Ocean Energy Management  Bureau (BOEM) published a request for information and comments on the preparation of the 2019-2024 National Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Program. Comments and information must be submitted by August 17. [Vol. 82, No. 126 (Monday, July 3, 2017)]

USGS - The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) published a notice of renewal of a currently approved information collection as part of a research project called “‘iCoast--Did the Coast Change?” (also referred to as “iCoast”), a crowdsourcing tool for analyzing coastal changes before and after extreme storms.  [Vol. 82, No. 128 (Thursday, July 6, 2017)]

Executive - On June 30th, the Executive Office of the President issued Executive Order 13803, Reviving the National Space Council. The National Space Council was originally established by President George H.W. Bush, but it effectively ceased operation in 1993. The Order revives the Council and provides additional details regarding its duties and responsibilities  [Vol. 82, No. 129 (Friday, July 7)]

NOAA - The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reopened the public comment period for the review of Marine National Monuments and National Marine Sanctuaries created or expanded since April 28, 2007 for an additional 15 days. Comments are due no later than August 15.  [Vol. 82, No. 145 (Monday, July 31, 2017)]

OSMRE - The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE) published a notice and request for comments announcing that the information collection request for the requirements for surface mining or reclamation operations on Indian lands has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for approval.
