BSEE - The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) published a final rule that revises their regulations pertaining to maintaining a lease beyond its primary term through continuous operations. The final rule, effective on June 9, extends the period of time before which a lease expires due to stoppage of operations from 180 days to one year. [Volume 82, Number 110 (Friday, June 9, 2017)]

NOAA - The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) published notice of the SEDAR 54 assessment webinar II for Highly Migratory Species (HMS) Sandbar Shark, a part of a series of assessment webinars. The webinar will be held from 1pm to 3pm on June 22 and is open to the public. [Volume 82, Number 111 (Monday, June 12, 2017)]

NOAA - The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) published notice of a public meeting of the Pacific Fishery Management Council's Salmon Technical Team to develop a plan to review inquiries to change the commercial salmon troll fishery boundary in two areas. The meeting will be held via webinar on June 28 from 9am to 12pm. [Volume 82, Number 111 (Monday, June 12, 2017)]

BLM - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) published a notice that it will be indefinitely postponing the compliance dates for certain sections of the Waste Prevention Rule. The rule, originally issued in November 2016, is pending judicial review in the U.S. District Court of Wyoming after petitions from industry groups and states. EPA - The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a notice proposing a two-year stay on fugitive emissions requirements, well site pneumatic pump standards, and the requirements for certification of closed vent systems by a professional engineer in accordance with the Clean Air Act (CAA). This Rule is proposed in conjunction with a preceding three-month stay. [Vol. 82, No. 115 (Friday, June 16, 2017)]

EPA - The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a notice proposing a three-month stay on emissions requirements and other systems and operations standards in accordance with the Clean Air Act (CAA). This proposed rule is intended to precede a two-year stay for implementation during the sixty day waiting and review period.  [Vol. 82, No. 115 (Friday, June 16, 2017)]

NOAA - The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) published a notice of the schedule and proposed agenda for a meeting of the Ocean Exploration Advisory Board (OEAB). The meeting is scheduled for July 11 and 12, 2017, from 9am-5pm EDT each day, and will be open to the public. [Vol. 82, No. 120 (Friday, June 23, 2017)]

NOAA - The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) published a notice that it will review the designations of 11 National Marine Sanctuaries and Marine National Monuments created since 2007, pursuant to Executive Order 13795 - Implementing an America-First Offshore Energy Strategy. Written Comments must be submitted by July 26, 2017. [Vol. 82, No. 121  (Monday, June 26, 2017)]
