DOI - The Department of the Interior (DOI), is requesting comments from the public for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Public comments are wanted pertaining to the Water Resources Research Act of 1984. Comments should be received by the USGS on or before January 4, 2016. [Volume 80, Issue 212 (November 3, 2015)]

USGS - The United States Geological Survey (USGS) is requesting comments from the general public and other Federal agencies on the research and monitoring findings of the USGS under the Earthquake Hazards Reduction Act. Comments are to be submitted on or before January 4, 2016. [Volume 80, Issue 214 (November 5, 2015)]

DOI - The Department of the Interior (DOI), specifically the geological survey, gives notice of a meeting of the National Geospatial Advisory Committee, the meeting will be held on December 4, 2015 from 12:30-3:30 pm (EST), via teleconference. NASA - The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) gives notice of a NASA Advisory Council meeting that will be open to the public. The meeting is scheduled for December 1-3rd. USGS - The United States Geological Survey (USGS) is accepting comments regarding the state of the National Coal Resources Data System (NCRDS), which gathers and organizes digital geologic information related to coal, coal bed gas, shale gas, conventional and unconventional oil & gas, geothermal, and other energy resources. DOE - The Department of Energy (DOE) among other federal agencies including, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), etc, released a proposed rule known as the Federal Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects. The agencies are requesting comments, with the comment period ending January 6th, 2016. [Volume 80, Issue 227 (November 25, 2015)]

DOE - The Department of Energy (DOE) released a notice of renewal for a two-year period for the National Coal Council, which is part of DOE’s Office of Fossil Energy. The Council is directed to provide advice, information, and recommendations to DOE regarding coal issue policies. [Volume 80, Issue 228 (November 27, 2015)]
