The Department of Energy, in collaboration with the National League of Cities and the National Association of State Energy Officials, is launching a data-sharing program aimed at enhancing energy efficiency in buildings and lowering costs throughout the U.S.

The Department of Energy (DOE) released their second Quadrennial Technology Review (QTR 2015) this September.

On July 30, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee passed its Energy Policy Modernization Act of 2015 (S.___), which addresses energy efficiency, infrastructure, supply, and government funding and oversight.

The House passed their fiscal year (FY) 2015 Energy and Water Appropriations Bill (H.R. 4923), on July 10 by a vote of 253-170. This $34 billion bill funds the Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development held a markup of their fiscal year (FY) 2015 appropriations bill, which allocates a total of $34 billion for the Department of Energy (DOE), the Army Corps of Engineers, and other related agencies.
