Richard Hughes Named GSL Executive Secretary

The Geological Society of London announced that Richard Hughes will lead the organization starting in May. He is a fellow of the organization, and a chartered geologist. He currently Director of Business Development at the Coal Authority and was previously the Director of Information at the British Geological Survey. 

Decision Points in the Geoscience Career Pathway Study Launched by AGI and YES Network

The YES Network, with the support of the American Geological Institute (AGI), the Geological Society of London (GSL), and the Geological Society of America (GSA) is conducting a study to determine the key decision points in the career pathways for early-career geoscientists (from university through 10 years post-graduation).
