Advancing Geoscience Solutions: 2023 Year in Review

Geoscientists are problem solvers. We use the tools of science to address the myriad of challenges and opportunities presented as humans strive to live healthy, prosperous, fulfilling lives interacting in a sustainable relationship with Earth’s dynamic systems. And because those challenges and opportunities are so numerous and varied, the American Geosciences Institute (AGI) worked with partners across the geoscience community to bring our vital expertise to bear in solving an array of problems in 2023.

We collaborated with affiliated geoscience societies, government agencies, corporate partners, and academic institutions to deliver solutions in the form of programs, publications, and other offerings designed to help our community members build their capacity to thrive in global support of geoscience.
