'Geoscience Driving Innovation': AGI Showcases Impact in 2024 Annual Report

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The American Geosciences Institute (AGI) proudly announces the release of its annual report, Geoscience Driving Innovation, spotlighting major achievements from October 2023 through September 2024 and including audited financial statements for the past three fiscal years.

The report offers a comprehensive look at AGI’s innovative efforts to strengthen the geoscience profession, foster effective partnerships, and expand opportunities across the community.

“Geoscientists are applying science to meet society’s greatest needs — protecting lives and infrastructure from natural hazards, securing reliable resources, and guiding decisions that balance economic growth with environmental sustainability,” says AGI Executive Director Jonathan Arthur. “This report not only looks back on a year of mission-driven accomplishment, but also demonstrates our resolve to build capacity and foster innovation across the geoscience enterprise for our federation, our profession, and our planet in the years ahead.”
