AGI and CFES Launch Updated Website for CanGeoRef Database
The American Geosciences Institute (AGI) and the Canadian Federation of Earth Sciences (CFES) have launched a new website for CanGeoRef, the preeminent bibliographic database for Canadian geoscience literature.
The new website features expanded functionality, including:
- A geographic search view option
- The abilities to set individual accounts
- Easy reference saving and sharing options
“CanGeoRef is an excellent resource for earth scientists working in Canada or interested in Canadian geology,” said Dr. Iain M. Samson, President of CFES. “The ability to customize a search and the Canadian focus of the publications results in more efficient and targeted searches than with general-use search engines.”
Launched in 2010 as a cooperative arrangement between AGI and CFES, CanGeoRef now includes references to a growing database of more than 200,000 journal articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports, and theses. Explore these references now at https://cangeoref.americangeosciences.org/.
Affordable Access to CanGeoRef
