AGI Announces 'Water Today and for the Future' Webinar Series for Earth Science Week 2021

In collaboration with presenting partners, the American Geosciences Institute (AGI) invites educators, students, and all interested in the geosciences to participate in the “Water Today and for the Future” Webinar Series during Earth Science Week (October 10-16, 2021) and beyond. These webinars are being presented for a general public audience:

  • “Groundwater Exploration in Response to Humanitarian Crises,” 1 p.m. ET, October 13, 2021. Dr. Paul Baum, Technical Director of the Near Surface Geophysics Group, BGC Engineering Inc. Register
  • “Water Supply Issues in the Delaware River System: A Tale of Tunnels, Transfers, Tumult, and Trout,” October 14, 2021. Dr. David Wunsch, Director and State Geologist of the Delaware Geological Survey and President of the American Geosciences Institute. Register
  • “Perspectives on a Crucial Resource: The Importance and Vulnerability of Our Water Supplies,” 3 p.m. ET, October 14, 2021. Dr. David Kreamer, University of Nevada, Las Vegas and President of the International Association of Hydrogeologists. Register
  • “Earth Science and the International Year of Caves and Karst,” October 15, 2021. Dr. George Veni, Executive Director of National Cave and Karst Research Institute. Register
