Call for 2020 AGI Nominations
AGI is seeking quality candidates for American Geosciences Institute 2021 officer positions and 2020 awards. Your nominations should be received by February 1, 2020, in order to be reviewed by the AGI Nominating Committee making recommendations for the 2021 officers and 2020 awards. Letters of support may be sent for each nominee and, if provided, will be included in the package sent to the 2020 Nominating Committee.
Specifically AGI is seeking nominations for the following Executive Committee positions and awards:
Marcus Milling Legendary Geoscientist Medal
Medal in Memory of Ian Campbell for Superlative Service to the Geosciences
Outstanding Contribution to the Public Understanding of the Geosciences
AGI needs your participation in this process to identify the most appropriate candidates. AGI's Nominating Committee recommendations will be presented for consideration to the AGI Member Society Council at the June 8, 2020, meeting in Houston, Texas.

AGI also has the Edward C. Roy Jr. Award for Excellence in K-8 Earth Science Teaching, an annual award designed to recognize a teacher of grades K-8 (or the United Kingdom equivalent) for his or her leadership and innovation in Earth science education.
