MajorDuties
- Controls and manages project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and initial operations.
- Negotiates with customers and political entities affected by or affecting the project.
- Coordinates the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environment consideration, etc., for assigned projects.
- Reviews and evaluates status of projects for attainment of objectives.
- Reviews and approves funding and manpower estimates to assure that there are sufficient resources to support project objectives.

Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR B. Combination of Education and Experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes expert knowledge of Regional Sediment management and Coastal Resiliency issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
Pay Range
$88,704.00 - $115,313.00
