Job Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will NOT be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties

  • Serve as a Civil Engineer within a highly collaborative design team, make immediate contributions and take initiative to complete work on some very unique historically significant facilities on Fort Leavenworth.
  • Engage in planning and/or designing substantial new construction, renovation and improvement projects for a variety of real property facilities.
  • Prepare technical review of design calculations, analyses, drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project objectives and standards.
  • Evaluate programs and projects to assure compliance with all environmental, energy use, safety and security standards.
  • Serve as technical representative for negotiation and administration of contracts.

Qualifications

US Citizens You must demonstrate at least one (1) year of the defined specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level AND meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Individual Occupational Requirements (IOR). Specialized experience is defined as experience planning and/or monitoring large scale facilities construction, renovation and improvement projects; and, evaluating plans of real property facilities to ensure compliance with objectives, standards and requirements. Pay Range

$77,501.00 - $100,756.00
