Job Summary

You will serve as a Customer Advocate Surface Applications in the Customer Advocate Office of NAVSURFWARCEN IHEODTECHDIV.

Major Duties

  • You will contribute to the success of NSWC IHEODTD Strategic Plan with a focus on sustainment of existing work and growth of new work within the Surface domain.
  • You will manage relationships with sponsors and program officers, negotiate cost proposals and tasking, remain engaged with project oversight, and conduct workload forecasting for long term master planning.
  • You will serve as the honest broker for the customer and recommend best value solutions.
  • You will control a project's milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs to ensure program success by meeting customer requirements.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band (GS-12/13 Equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience as a professional engineer or scientist coordinating the design, development, test, evaluation, fabrication or deployment of Surface Applications or warfighter weapons. Pay Range

$102,663.00 - $170,800.00
