You will serve as a ENGINEER in the SURVIVABILITY AND WEAPONS EFFECTS DIVISION of CARDEROCK DIV NS. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15.
Major Duties
- You will lead the Vulnerability Assessment Branch efforts for COLUBMIA Class and VIRIGINIA Class Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFTE) Programs.
- You will support the SSNX design including leading the vulnerability aspects of the platform design.
- You will lead the development and presentation of new acquisition vulnerability and LFTE material through chain of command up to the Senior Executive Service (SES) and Flag level both internal and external to the PEO Subs.
- You will identify and manage submarine vulnerability and LFTE workload for Vulnerability Assessment Branch.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band (GS-12/13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist leading the development, research or test and evaluation of engineering projects or programs for Submarine Vulnerability and Live Fire Test and Evaluation. Pay Range
$102,663.00 - $170,800.00
