Job Summary
You will serve as an Engineer in the Measurement Science and Engineering Department, Interface Engineering and Assessment Division, Test Systems Assessment Branch of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.
Major Duties
- You will be responsible for developing, conducting, and coordinating assessment and certification of test systems and test program sets in support of undersea warfare weapons and surface-launched and air-launched guided weapons.
- You will develop, conduct, and coordinate the assessment of integrated diagnostics designs in support of undersea warfare weapons and surface- and air-launched guided weapons.
- You will act as a liaison with cognizant systems commands, field activities, contractors, and the U.S Navy fleet.
- You will provide technical assistance and consulting services to cognizant systems commands and field activities relative to support systems and program methods, policies, techniques, and requirements.
- You will participate in the development of test program sets used by using sophisticated automatic test systems.
Qualifications
ND-04
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS 9/11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Professional Engineer assessing test and evaluation systems for naval surface or undersea weapons.weapons. Pay Range
$52,934.00 - $131,064.00
