Job Summary

You will serve as a, ND-05 (GS 14/15 equivalent) providing technical and programmatic support for the planning, coordination, direction of execution, and technical efforts associated with magnetic sensing technology and magnetic sensing systems NAVSURFWARFCTR PANAMA CITY DIVISION.

Major Duties

  • You will provide effective technical leadership and direction to diverse groups of scientists, engineers and technicians.
  • You will manage multiple parallel efforts and assist project leaders, systems engineers, and scientists toward effective project execution in the Research, Development, Test and Evaluation of magnetic sensors.
  • You will prepare and present executive-level briefings.
  • you will prepare clear and concise technical reports, presentations, and papers.
  • You will develop requirements, assess designs, and analyze/characterize performance for advanced magnetic sensing systems.
  • You will provide senior leadership with expert technical recommendations regarding electromagnetic sensing systems.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (ND-04; GS-12/13 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist leading research and development projects that test, evaluate or validate magnetic sensor integration for sensor technology platforms. Pay Range

$91,231.00 - $164,858.00
