Job Summary
You will serve as a Environmental Engineer in the Facilities Department of NAVY MEDICINE EAST.
Major Duties
- You will serve as the lead engineer and regional program manager for the facilitation and integration of the environmental program throughout Navy Medicine East.
- You will serve as the principal consultant for the management of environmental programs.
- You will provide recommendations to ensure environmental programs support command objectives.
- You will promote and advocate for the Environmental Management System (EMS) business model.
Qualifications
For the GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing environmental programs in a medical treatment facility or a medical laboratory. Experience providing multi-media technical expertise to assigned facilities. Experience applying environmental engineering analytical techniques to provide guidance and make policy recommendations to supported commands. Experience analyzing and identifying program deficiencies and recommending improvements. For the GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience interpreting and implementing environmental regulations and policies at an assigned medical facility. Experience serving as an environmental engineering technical authority. Experience working with an electronic environmental management system. Pay Range
$77,091.00 - $119,176.00
