Major Duties
You will:
- Provide technical and policy guidance, review of engineering, scientific, and technical information and analysis and makes compliance determinations with established regulations, laws and guidance from both EPA and other federal agencies
- Serve as an engineering/scientific expert on assigned projects.
- Serve as an engineering/scientific expert analyst with mastery of program-related federal and state laws and regulations, documentation and reporting requirements, rulemaking processes.
- Lead a team of one or more employees who are assigned to the program on a temporary or permanent basis to provide program specific review of Nation Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents or functioning as a senior advisor to lower graded specialist with a specified program area..
Qualifications
You need a degree or combination of education and experience as described below to qualify for this position.In addition to the educational requirements, we are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:To qualify for the GS-13 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-12 level defined as experience conducting site inspections under a national environmental law; experience writing inspection reports that identify specific violations of any of these environmental laws; experience providing technical support and advice on environmental compliance status of regulated entities.

Pay Range
$100,027.00 - $130,039.00
