Job Summary

You will serve as an Environmental Protection Specialist in the Environmental Affairs Branch, G-F Division ofMARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER .

Major Duties

  • You will independently apply environmental theory and practices to ensure compliance and responsible stewardship of air, land and water resources.
  • You will implement and maintain a comprehensive program for environmental support services.
  • You will provide assistance with conducting annual compliance inspections.
  • You will provide technical environmental assistance to Marine Corps units and tenant activities for compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
  • You will assist in providing solutions to environmental issues and projects within the area.
  • You will provide advisory services, develop and present briefings and serve as technical consultant in all environmental media.

Qualifications

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the

Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Establishing, implementing and managing a multi-media environmental program to achieve environmental compliance of air, land and water resources. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the

Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing assistance in establishing, implementing and managing a multi-media environmental program to achieve environmental compliance of air, land and water resources. Pay Range

$37,301.00 - $59,316.00
