Job Summary

You will serve as an ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the INSTALLATION AND ENVIRONMENT DIVISION, NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS BRANCH of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO.

Major Duties

  • You will review new or revised environmental regulations to evaluate impact on an organization's facilities, equipment, and operations.
  • You will evaluate environmental program status to formulate metrics, benchmarks, and management data requirements.
  • You will conduct field investigations for compliance with environmental policies, laws, or regulations.
  • You will review and prepare environmental permits and related documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local laws associated with the Clean Air Act.
  • You will modify standard practices or adapt new techniques to solve technical problems with environmental compliance.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and managing Clean Air Act program compliance and air quality permits (i.e. Title V operating permit); advising on corrective measures and procedures regarding air quality, air compliance, and air pollution control. Pay Range

$83,398.00 - $108,422.00
