Job Summary
You will serve as a ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the NAVAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMAND of NAVAL CONSTRUCTION TRAINING CTR.
Major Duties
- You will conduct inspections, inventories, record keeping, and environmental deficiency identification and tracking in support of environmental laws and regulations.
- You will document environmental areas of concern in reports, surveys, studies, and plans.
- You will advise on matters of related to hazardous waste treatment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide guidance on environmental cleanup; 2) Assess environmental/hazardous spills; and 3) Evaluate environmental compliance and recommend changes. You can have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Your percentage of required education plus your percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent. Pay Range
$60,415.00 - $78,540.00
