Job Summary
You will serve as a Environmental Protection Specialist with NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Major Duties
- You will evaluate an environmental protection program using metrics, fact finding, and investigative techniques.
- You will administer and coordinate site Environmental Protection Programs.
- You will initiate and perform studies to determine the extent that Navy operations may impact the quality of' the environment.
- You will recommend and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
GS:09- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing technical data on environmental activities and to develop recommendations for a course of action; 2) Evaluating work practices to determine compliance with environmental protection laws and regulations; and 3) Recommending changes to control or eliminate potential or existing environmental hazards or violations GS:07- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Pay Range
$48,406.00 - $76,974.00
