Job Summary
You will serve as an Environmental Protection Specialist in the Environmentl Branch, Facilities Department ofMARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI .
Major Duties
- You will support air and water programs to develop plans and reports, and ensure compliance with corresponding regulations are met.
- You will review and monitor compliance with all relevant environmental regulations pertaining to hazardous waste management.
- You will oversee the daily operations to ensure mission accomplishment which includes ensuring funds, property and other resources are guarded against fraud, waste, loss, unauthorized use and misappropriation.
- You will assist activities in developing resource recovery and implementing solid waste management strategies.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, coordinating and executing environmental programs concerning maintenance and improvement of facilities (i.e. pumping stations, sewer systems, water supply distribution, and storage systems), and/ or administrating related programs for hazardous material, hazardous waste, pollution prevention, water, air, spill response, petroleum oils and lubricant management, natural/cultural resources management, training curriculum development, and the Comprehensive Environmental Training and Education Program (CETEP). Pay Range
$55,204.00 - $71,764.00
