Major Duties

  • Evaluates alternatives in order to make a determination, draw a conclusion or solve a problem.
  • Develop execution policy and procedures for environmental programs within the Major Subordinate Commands, installation, facilities and activities throughout the Army Reserve.
  • Briefs chain of command, including Headquarters level leadership, on program status, environmental challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Initiates, manage, administer, and approve plans that translate environmental requirements into proposed projects, contracts, and other acquisition strategies.
  • Resolve highly technical administrative and project problems related to environmental requirements and regulations.
  • Identify environmental risk and develop key targets and mitigation plans to reduce negative impacts and advance sustainability objectives, with a mission-oriented focus.
  • Review and approve subordinate installation?s? funding requests to ensure sufficient resources to support prioritized program objectives.

Pay Range

$99,172.00 - $128,920.00
