Job Summary

You will serve as an ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Major Duties

  • You will be responsible for supporting development and sustainment of the environmental programs ensuring the command complies with laws, rules, and regulations.
  • You will conduct various management surveys and analysis of environmental conditions.
  • You will participate in engineering and planning for test and evaluation, modification, and maintenance and disposal of weapon system components as an environmental advocate.
  • You will conduct NEPA/Environmental planning analysis.
  • You will recommend control measures to mitigate negative consequences and changes for process improvement.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing environmental planning programs. Pay Range

$84,785.00 - $110,224.00
