Major Duties

  • Coordinates the Environmental Review Guide program.
  • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of applicable Federal and State laws and regulations regarding the above programs such that sound and rational field decisions can be made to insure compliance in an efficient and cost effective manner.
  • Serves as Project Safety Officer, requiring in-depth knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations such as OSHA, National Fire Code, Corps Safety Regulations (EM-385-1-1), etc.
  • Provides technical advice to the Operating Manager on safety related issues, often times sensitive and controversial in nature.
  • Maintains extensive contacts with numerous regulatory agency personnel, District personnel and Project to effectively manage the safety compliance program.
  • Coordinates and consults frequently with Agency experts to gain information and interpretation into technical and complex laws and regulations.
  • Coordinates with Governmental Agencies and private industry in developing and maintaining plans and procedures necessary to comply with environmental and safety requirements.

Pay Range

$62,236.00 - $80,912.00
