Job Summary
This is an Interdisciplinary, GS-12 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division (SWD), Fort Worth District, Engineering and Construction Division. Duty location may be Fort Worth Texas or McAllen Texas. A relocation/recruitment incentive, not to exceed $10,000 may be offered to the selectee of this position. Total amount of payment is at management's discretion.
Major Duties
- Receive design directives and determine the scopes of work.
- Attend meetings and makes site visits for planning purposes, to provide technical assistance, and to identify issues and provide resolution.
- Develop cost estimates and schedules for design projects.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with Architectural-Engineering (A-E) firms.
- Draft the contractual agreements, findings of fact, and other contractual documents.
- Coordinate major projects for users in various stages of completion.

AND 4) Manage construction progress to ensure milestones are met. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Pay Range
$74,596.00 - $104,138.00
