Job Summary

Major Duties

  • You will interpret environmental laws, regulations, and policies for technical compliance with regulations.
  • You will process wastewater permits (e.g., completing permit applications, waiver determinations, assuring engineering reports are accurate and complete, identify equipment specifications, payment of permits fees) to ensure timely submission.
  • You will modify test and evaluation procedures in response to changes in design.
  • You will coordinate with other engineers or professionals to verify environmental projects satisfy customer requirements.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing compliance program monitoring parameters and procedures; 2) Utilizing knowledge of professional biological and environmental scientifics, theories, principles, practices and methodologies needed to resolve complex problems associated with environmental programs; 3) Assessing the impact of an installation's activities on the regional environment and make recommendations to avoid or mitigate negative consequence. $74,750.00 - $97,179.00
