Job Summary

Serves as Journeyman Project Manager. The incumbent is responsible for managing the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scoping, design, construction, and direction of projects to support a specific functional program. Responsible for management oversight on the work for other Districts to include marketing of Corps of Engineers Huntsville Center (HNC) capabilities in accordance with HNC's directives.

Major Duties

  • Responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned programs and projects.
  • Reviews project progress, measuring performance and taking necessary corrective actions to maintain agreed upon schedule and cost.
  • Utilize performance trends to forecast schedule, budget, manpower, or quality problems, ensures proper resolution of issues raised.
  • Communicate project issues and resolutions with senior management, contractors, and customers.
  • Manages project contingency funds to ensure efficient and effective utilization.

Pay Range

$79,301.00 - $103,096.00
