Job Summary
**Salary includes locality pay. **Currently authorized Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) of 12.62%, subject to change.
Major Duties
- You will evaluate Department of the Army (DA) permit applications, compliance, and/or enforcement cases for activities in waters of the United States and/or navigable waters of the United States within regulatory authority.
- Regulatory authority includes the regulatory authority of the Clean Water Act, the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899, and the Marine Protection, Research, and Sanctuaries.
- You will develop and manage general permits (GPs)
- You will develop procedures to implement directives from higher authorities
- You will serve as the District representative on groups and task forces with missions of interest to the District and/or the regulatory program.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes interpreting policy and regulations associated with natural resources (e.g. water ways, soil conservation, botany, hydrology, or environmental impact issues) to meet mandated regulatory project requirements; conducting natural resource studies; and analyzing environmental assessments or impact statements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Pay Range
$70,109.00 - $102,847.00
