Job Summary
You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY, ENGINEER/ARCHITECT in the Fleet and Family Readiness of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS.
Major Duties
- You will design measures to monitor program performance and effectiveness.
- You provide support in program reviews to improve the efficiency of housing construction.
- You will determine the impact of changes to regulations, orders, and policies as the relate to housing standards and criteria.
Qualifications
At the GS-13 grade level: This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: Possession of a current Professional Engineer License or Architectural Registration in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico. (Note: You must submit s copy of the License/Registration with your application package.) GS-13
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating and incorporating the latest development in the fields of architecture and engineering into technical requirements of the program; 2) Applying analytical and evaluative methods/techniques to consolidate and reconcile data, and present fact; 3) Designing and conducting comprehensive studies or test and preparing solutions related to operational and contingency issues; and 4) Preparing and delivering recommendations at management briefings within and outside the organization. Pay Range
$86,335.00 - $112,240.00
