Job Summary

You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY (SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SPECIALIST) in the ENVIRONMENTAL MGMT DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE.

Major Duties

  • You will provide liaison with other Base Departments and Divisions with and coordination of environmental management, natural resources protection, and related technical support.
  • You will implement the Environmental Management System and environmental compliance evaluation program and technical support directed at ensuring monitoring, reporting, and follow up to provide compliance with regulations and standards.
  • You will develop and execute a wide range of administrative programs necessary for all Operation and Tenant Commands to achieve effective and reliable environmental compliance levels to include compilation of an annual operations plan.
  • You will oversee the actions of the Environmental Impact Working Group, responsible for the analysis and mitigation of the impact of propose installation/tenant command actions.
  • You will oversee the implementation of information systems necessary for program management purposes, and reports pertinent information to the Director and Commanding Officer.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing all matters pertaining to compliance with environmental regulations; pollution prevent and abatement; environmental planning and impact assessment; installation restoration; and natural resources management. Pay Range

$107,807.00 - $140,146.00
