Job Summary

Major Duties

  • You will provide recommendations of energy management practices through covering contractual, real estate, business and technical issues.
  • You will develop comprehensive technical and acquisition solutions for large scale renewable energy and smart energy technologies to achieve the organization energy goals.
  • You will ensures timely performance and quality work by team members while maintaining flexibility due to changes to high priority projects and command deadlines.
  • You will analyze engineering, management, and economic data to formulate appropriate alternatives and identification of benefits and liabilities of utility systems.

Qualifications

This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: Possession of a current Professional Engineer License (Note: You must submit s copy of the License/Registration with your application package.) Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Advising on policies, laws, regulations, procedures, and methods pertaining to renewable energy projects; 2)Providing subject matter expertise on operation and maintenance of utilities systems (i.e. plants, utilities acquisition, and analyses of utilities systems); 3) Performing duties related to process improvement, cost, budgeting, funding, and utilities acquisition; and 4) Communicating both orally and in writing on a professional level. Pay Range

$91,671.00 - $119,176.00
