Job Summary
This is located at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District headquarters in the modern 2 Hopkins Plaza building in downtown Baltimore, and is within walking distance of the historic seaport, the Inner Harbor, and other attractions. It is also adjacent to prestigious universities, world-class medical facilities and cultural attractions. Major Duties
- Responsible for production of technical products for engineering programs through construction contract award.
- Support the design during construction process and design features as required by changed conditions.
- Responsible for engineering determinations concerning contract awards for major aspects of design to be performed by engineer in the private sector or via in-house resources.
- Approved final designs of structure and facilities.
- Interpret agency policies and procedures as they relate to the Engineering program.
- Experience in Architect-Engineer and construction contract methods including unique methods such as design/construction, fast track, multi-year funding, and competitive negotiations using management -technical capability criteria.
- Advise the District Engineering regarding important developments in Engineering program areas.
- Perform supervisory duties such as; setting performance standards and determining training needs and ensure on the-job training is conducted for CP-18 personnel.

Performs supervisory duties such as; develop performance appraisals, review work, set schedules, direct subordinates, mentor and develop employees. Manage the production, review, and approval of designs and contract documents for Military Construction, Environmental, Interagency/ International Support and Civil Work projects. Plan and schedule the engineering workload of the District to meet mission objectives and ensure technical accuracy.

Pay Range
$142,701.00 - $170,800.00
