Job Summary

You will serve as a UTILITY ENGINEER in the PRODUCTION DEPARMENT, PRODUCTION FACILITY & EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION, UTILITIES MANAGEMENT BRANCH (Code 985) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. 810/830 GS-11: $71,193 - $90,404 GS-12: $78,880 - $101,903 850 GS-11: $72,987 - $92,198 GS-12: $83,180 - $106,203

Major Duties

  • You will manage the reliability of critical utility systems.
  • You will maintain updated utility system schematics ("as built" drawings) and specifications.
  • You will plan, manage, and coordinate all projects concerning utility systems and equipment at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard.
  • You will provide technical engineering guidance to facilitate planning of engineering operations for utilities system projects.
  • You will analyze findings to incorporate pertinent requirements into design development of the facility.
  • You will determine resource requirements to formulate financial strategies for shipyard projects.
  • You will communicate modifications or changes to facilities and and planning repairs to project members.

Qualifications

To qualify at the GS-12 level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer planning or coordinating projects related to utility systems and equipment that include reviewing design data for repairs and alterations in support of facility or vessels. To qualify at the GS-11 level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer analyzing the design data for repairs and alterations of utilities systems and equipment in support of a facility or vessel.??????? Pay Range
