Job Summary

You will serve as the Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) Senior Intelligence Analyst leading a team of scientists, engineers, and all-source intelligence analysts to produce in-depth, all source and technical analysis over a number of advanced foreign weapon technologies, with emphasis on Directed Energy Weapons. This position is located in Suitland, MD in the FARRAGUT TECHNICAL ANALYSIS CENTER.

Major Duties

  • You will prepare detailed technical assessments/products that are clear and concise with conclusions that represent the command?s position
  • You will apply scientific and engineering knowledge to solve technical problems related to foreign weapons technologies
  • You will develop research and analysis plans in order to produce new or updated technical intelligence assessments
  • You will identify foreign technology limitations, implications, manufacturing trends, and research and development efforts as it relates to established policies, practices, and procedures.
  • You will apply knowledge of intelligence collection in order to drive all-source collection initiatives to fill intelligence gaps within assigned analytic portfolios.
  • You will represent the command/Navy at Intelligence community meetings and conferences.
  • You will provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced coworkers to fulfill specific duties.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties such as: 1) Preparing detailed technical assessments/products that are clear and concise with conclusions that represent the commands position; 2) Applying scientific and engineering knowledge to solve technical problems related to foreign weapons technologies; 3) Developing research and analysis plans in order to produce new or updated technical intelligence assessments; 4) Identifying foreign technology limitations, implications, manufacturing trends, and research and development efforts as it relates to established policies, practices, and procedures. Pay Range

$121,316.00 - $157,709.00
