Job Summary

Major Duties

  • You will manage design and construction projects to ensure the structure, systems, functions, and performance adhere to pre-established standards and requirements.
  • You will develop and maintain project schedules and budgets to conform with project and customer requirements.
  • You will review construction project parameters (e.g., integration, scope, time, cost, quality, communication, procurement, risk management) to recommend changes that will improve the overall project results.
  • You will monitor construction activity to ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and scheduling.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Construction management and construction engineering for alternations, repair, and new construction of a broad range of facilities; 2) Uses computer software to develop cost estimates; 3) Reviews and approves all contract technical submittals (e.g. design drawings, product selection, environmental protection plans, schedules and/or quality control plans); 4) Reviews and approves Activity Hazard Analysis, Critical Lift Plans, Accident Prevention Plans, and/or management of the contractor's safety program; 5) Manages multiple priorities during the administration of construction contracts; and 6) Reviews pre-final contract drawing and specifications. Pay Range

$85,865.00 - $111,629.00
