Job Summary

You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY (ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/ ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST/ LIFE SCIENTIST) in the Industrial Operations Management Dept of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Major Duties

  • You will plan, develop, organize, and administer the assigned program; and evaluate and coordinate the program for all areas of complex industrial installation engaged in diverse high risk operations and functions.
  • You will prepare written plans and schedules and sets milestones for accomplishing program goals in both prevention and abatement functions.
  • You will identify environmental abatement projects needed by the installation.
  • You will coordinate with many disciplinary areas including other environmental engineers, chemists, biologists, physical scientists, etc to provide advice and expertise in the specialized program area.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following duties: 1) Plan, execute, and report on original or on- going studies where novel ideas are needed to resolve new problems; 2) Research, analyze, test, evaluate, or interpret complex data sets where there are unusual circumstances, unconventional issues or complex problems and conditions; 3) Execute judgment, devising solutions and prioritizing recommendations based on risk and situational requirements and constraints. Pay Range

$74,596.00 - $96,978.00
