Job Summary
You will serve as a ENGINEER OR ARCHITECT in the OFFICE OF THE OPERATIONS OFFICER of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND MARIANAS. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 12.62% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.
Major Duties
- You will serve as a Command Subject Matter Expert for all technical issues related to Program and Project Management for complex to highly complex projects ranging in size from $3 million to $250 million dollars.
- You will be responsible for funds management, planning, design, and post-award construction work involving NAVFAC Marianas facilities.
- You will provide answers to technical questions from contractors while construction is in progress and approve shop drawings.
- You will approve funds allocation, budgetary controls, and cradle-to-grave project execution and ensure compliance with Department of Defense cost standards and budgetary guidance.
- You will recommend actions regarding substitution of materials or changes from original contract requirements at any or all phases of construction.
- You will conduct and facilitate Program and Project Management meetings, and provide executive level briefings.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing funds management, planning, design, and post-award construction services for complex projects. Pay Range
$91,231.00 - $118,603.00
