Job Summary

You will serve an ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER / GEOLOGIST in the Environmental Business Line of of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND MARIANAS. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 12.62% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.

Major Duties

  • You will provide technical consultative assistance to identify, investigate and cleanup contamination from hazardous substance.
  • You will provide program participation and support to other commands having responsibilities for environmental restoration.
  • You will develop projects, priorities, budgets, execution plans, guidelines, long-range planning, strategies, and objectives for the Navy's Environmental Restoration Program
  • You will maintain the latest developments in geology.
  • You will review engineering design and environmental and geological investigations, and delivers sustainable, innovative, and cost effective remediation solutions.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical consultative assistance to identify, investigate and cleanup contamination from hazardous substance sites, review engineering design, environmental, and geological investigations. Pay Range

$91,231.00 - $118,603.00
