Job Summary

Work with systems engineering, and GEOINT technology including geography, cartography, geospatial, physical and/or earth sciences. Utilize advance skills in geospatial applications; remote sensing; the use of computers for digital image and GIS processing, analysis, visualization and/or digital cartographic techniques in lab and operational environments. This is a permanent position.

Major Duties

  • Conduct applied research/advanced development of tactical GEOINT capabilities.
  • Develop and field Army geospatial intelligence exploitation systems and architectures.
  • Assist with DoD acquisition management and planning processes
  • Work with systems engineering for the development of tactical GEOINT exploitation systems.
  • Serve as senior technical representative.

Preparing technical studies/reports to present briefings and/or demonstrations. Applying trends of technological developments to the solution of emerging user requirements. Assisting with and developing state-of-the-art GEOINT architectures, requirements and systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Pay Range

$142,701.00 - $170,800.00
