You will serve as the Branch Manager for the International CREW Branch (WXQN) in the EXPEDITIONARY EW SYSTEMS DIVISION (WXQ) with the SPECTRUM WARFARE SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The ND-5 pay band includes positions equivalent to the GS-14/15. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-14, Step 10; currently $136,271.
Major Duties
- You will further organizational and agency programs and initiatives by coordinating and integrating work that involves distinct areas of responsibility and that requires varying skills, knowledge, and abilities to execute the mission.
- You will formulate objectives and priorities and implement plans consistent with long-term interests of the organization that takes into consideration the environment, resources, capabilities, constraints, and organizational goals and values.
- You will develop and implement the organization's project and programmatic policies and procedures, and determine criteria for assessing effectiveness.
- You will plan, distribute, coordinate, and monitor work assignments of subordinates; evaluate work performance and provides feedback on their performance.
- You will develop and implement long and short term planning for required funding, human resources, facilities and equipment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer or Scientist leading the development, planning or execution of engineering projects, programs or initiatives. Pay Range
$88,704.00 - $160,286.00
