Job Summary

You will serve as a Branch Head in one of several specialty areas to include software development, information assurance, network and hardware engineering for Strategic Systems; Navy Surface Combat Systems computing and display systems, common computing architectures, operating environments, and networking infrastructures; Cyber Engineering and Technology systems; and/or Systems Security Engineering and Program Protection of NAVSURFWARCENDLD.

Major Duties

  • You will perform the full range of supervisory duties, including resource management, financial management, performance evaluations, personnel issues, safety, security, and implementation of diversity objectives.
  • You will plan, organize, coordinate and direct work in a Research and Development (R and D) environment.
  • You will provide managerial and decision authority regarding personnel and program/projects of the branch.
  • You will resolve policy issues that may cross organizational boundaries.
  • You will oversee the coordination and integration of the branch with the rest of the division, other technical organizations, and external sponsors.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist providing technical direction in the execution of research, development, or test and evaluation (RDT&E) of Cyber Warfare Systems, tools, techniques, processes and methods to support of Naval Warfare Systems. Pay Range

$102,663.00 - $170,800.00
