Job Summary
You will serve as a Manager of the WEAPONS CONTROL SYSTEMS & INFRASTRUCTURE BRANCH in the WEAPONS CONTROL & INTEGRATION DEPT of NAVSURFWARCENDLD.
Major Duties
- You will be responsible for the leadership and management duties associated with providing weapons control system engineering services as well as cyber security and facilities support engineering services.
- You will provide technical oversight and ensuring the quality and integrity of the products, and advancing the professional development of branch employees including recruiting and retention of personnel.
- You will identify and develop new business opportunities and/or grow existing projects.
- You will provide technical and administrative leadership including strategic planning, overall task coordination, budget administration, and resource management for a highly capable branch unit in a research and development environment.
- You will perform the full range of supervisory duties, including performance evaluation, personnel development, and the ability to implement EEO programs and objectives.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional ENGINEER or SCIENTIST providing technical leadership in research, development, or test and evaluation (RDT&E) efforts related to Weapon Control System (WCS) / Fire Control System (FCS), or elements of AEGIS Combat System. Pay Range
$102,663.00 - $170,800.00
