Job Summary

You will serve as a MANAGER in the Unmanned and Expeditionary Weapon System Division, Weapon Control & Integration Dept of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. If selected, you will serve as the Platform Integration Branch Head.

Major Duties

  • You will be responsible for the full range of supervisory duties including hiring, performance development and evaluation, training, conflict resolution, coaching and mentoring, and recommending promotions and other personnel actions.
  • You will provide guidance and tasking for the Branch, align the workforce with the vision and goals of the broader organization, and provide high-level leadership for pursuing new initiatives consistent with the organization's mission.
  • You will be responsible for implementing hardware development processes and technical rigor across the branch portfolio.
  • You will ensure the Products and Deliverables have appropriate level of review prior to release outside the organization.
  • You will coordinate across the branch and outside the organization to develop and implement strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

For the ND-05 (GS-14/15 equivalent) position: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band (ND-04 or GS-12/13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience as a professional Engineer or Scientist leading and providing technical direction in the design, development, and testing of Navy or Marine Corps Weapon Systems. Pay Range

$102,663.00 - $170,800.00
